My name is Lorie and I am a 28 year old mother of four from Plano, Texas! I am currently pursuing a career in the Interior Design field as well as being a stay at home mom. I was born in a small town just southeast of Pittsburh, Pennsylvania where I lived for 14 years. Moved to Texas when I was 14 1/2 years old and I am a proud 1990 graduate of Plano EAST Senior High School. GO PANTHERS!! I have 2 younger brothers, both living in Texas as well. I enjoy going to the beach, spending time with my family, writing, watching and playing football(Cowboys & Steelers), watching ice hockey(Penquins & Stars), being outdoors, and surfing the net!I collect Unicorns, bottles, and Pillsbury Dough Boy Stuff. I am married to a good ole' southern boy from Mississippi. David is 29 years old and holding(haha) and is currently a manager for Home Depot in Texas. He enjoys football(Cowboys), ice hockey(Stars), working with his hands, and being outdoors! My oldest son, Christopher, is 8 years old. He is Home Schooled and is currently in the 3rd grade. He is just got his Green belt in Tae Kwon Do and also made the Black Belt Club because of his hard work and skills! He enjoys watching t.v.,playing on the computer, spending time outdoors, riding his bike and playing with his friends. Daughter Tiffanie is my "Yellow Rose of Texas" with her golden blonde hair and baby blue eyes. She is 5 years old and loves to play with her Barbies! She is in pre-Kindergarten. She enjoys makeup, jewlery, spending time with mom, playing with her friends and being outside! My youngest daughter, Elizabeth, is 2 years old and Daddy's lil' girl! She loves to watch the TeleTubbies, play outside, color, and play with her dolls. My youngest Texan just turned 1 year old in January! Davey is my lil' Bear and has a personality that just bubbles all over! He loves to be around people and being outside. We have a dog, Belle, who is 5 years old and weighs 125 lbs. She is a German Shepard/Irish Setter mix but don't let the size scare you, she is all lap dog unless you make her mad! Our cat, Princess, thinks she is the queen of the house. She likes to help me when I am writing and spends most of her day laying around in the sun! | ||||||||||||||||

What do you want to know?? I love Texas in the Spring when the wildflowers are blooming. Texas Blubonnets are just breathtaking in a big open field mixed with Indian Blankets and Indian Paintbrush. Summers here can be hot and humid with tempatures as high as 105 degrees F, heat index of 110 degrees F. That's why i spen so much time at the beach! Autumn is a cooler version of Summer but with a lot more wind and rain. Winters are fairly mild. Sometimes we get an ice storm or 2. I also love the difference in the land throughout the state. To the North you have hills and trees. To the South you have the Gulf. To the East you have pine trees and hills. To the West you have cacti and desert. And in the middle it's flat! You can see for miles and miles! | ||||||||||||||||
